In 1943, during the Occupation, a mass-centre began operating in St Clement, and, when the war ended, this led to the building of the current St Patrick’s Church which was completed in 1948 as a daughter church of St Mary and St Peter’s. It has always been served by diocesan clergy.
St Patrick’s celebrated its 60th anniversary on March 20th 2009, with Mass concelebrated by Monsignor Nicholas France and two former parish priests Canon Peter Turbitt and Father Colin Ward.
There is a presbytery (currently rented out) and a church hall adjacent to the church.
To book a party or gatheruing in St Patick's Hall, call Mr Maurice Etienne on 01534 725084.
