St Patrick's Church

In 1943, during the Occupation, a mass-centre began operating  in St Clement, and, when the war ended, this led to the building of the current St Patrick’s Church which  was completed in 1948 as a daughter church of St Mary and St Peter’s.  It has always been served by diocesan clergy.

St Patrick’s celebrated its 60^th anniversary on March 20^th 2009, with Mass concelebrated by Monsignor Nicholas France and two former parish priests Canon Peter Turbitt and Father Colin Ward.

There is a presbytery (currently rented out) and a church hall adjacent to the church.
