Ecumenism

Our Catholic parish is a member of “Christians Together in Jersey”.  The Catholic Dean together with the Anglican Dean and the Methodist Superintendent meet together to discuss issues of common concern.  They also have consultative meetings with the Chief Minister of the island at his request. They lead religious services together to mark the beginning of the States’ year in January, Liberation Day in May, the commencement of the legal year in September and Remembrance Day in November.  At local level across the island Catholics are involved with other churches in social issues.
